Salvation’s Grip is an Exotic Grenade Launcher introduced in the Beyond Light expansion of Destiny 2. It is acquired from the “The Stasis Prototype” quest, which can be obtained from The Drifter after completing the main campaign. Salvation’s Grip has a unique gameplay loop for a grenade launcher. A single round launched without holding the trigger will launch a normal grenade launcher round at enemies. Holding the trigger will create a large stasis crystal similar in size to the Glacier stasis grenade that will freeze any enemies on contact.

It can be acquired by first catching Exotic fish from each destination (Whispering Mothcarp in Savathûn’s Throne World, Vexing Placoderm on Nessus, and Aeonian Alpha-Betta in the EDZ), then depositing them in the aquarium to retrieve three Broken Blades. These can be deposited in statues found in Deep Dives to begin the encounter that awards the Wicked Implement.
